“All you guys want is something for nothing”
“You want US to pay for you guys on welfare”
mm…Didn’t that guy named Bill Clinton* eliminate welfare?
*The OGAR…remember him? When the economy was booming?
When the US had a balanced budget…finally recovering from ‘limited government’…the Reagan budget busters/big spenders?
How do you figure he eliminated welfare? Where did you come up with this? People were making a fortune on it when he was in office!!
You are supposed to forget that, you are questioning them too much.
If you are so ridiculously uninformed to think that Welfare has been eliminated, then that Zogby poll was right on…
You guys just vote based on who MSNBC and the Unions tell you to vote for don’t you? You really don’t have a clue what’s actually going on do you?
They haven’t gotten the news.
Plus, they don’t think agricultural subsidies are welfare.
Plus, they don’t think federal water projects are welfare.
and you voted for Obama, did you participate in the Zogby poll?
Seriously?
Is this a JOKE?
Clinton Did NOT Eliminate Welfare…
Your question moves from poorly worded to downright bizzare. If you remeber clinton ecenomics for the dems don’t you also have to remeber carter? Just like you have to rememebr bush as well as reagn for the repubs.
Clinton signed the Welfare bill, which was written and crafted by the Republican Congress. You remember, the same one that impeached him for perjury and suborning perjury. Guess Clinton was not on board for that was he?
Welfare is Democrat spelled backwards.
More people GOT OFF welfare under his administration than any other.
No, not eliminate, but his economic policies helped people get jobs, thus the decrease in welfare recipients.
Hypothetical Question:
When you finally decide to be responsible with your finances, are you immediately comfortable? The answer is no: It takes time.
Mr Clinton benefited greatly from Reaganomics. Try to be smart.
Clinton eliminated welfare? How do you figure that? He supposedly “reformed” welfare, but the effects of that reform are far from ideal.http://www.thenation.com/doc/20060911/truthdig
I honestly didn’t realize you were serious here. Eliminated welfare? Ha.
HOOOOOld on, THAT WAS WHAT THE REPUBLICANS WERE PUSHING AND PUSHING FOR, he finally did it and took the credit, That was not slicks idea.
